Following a thorough evaluation process, the University Enterprises, Inc. (四虎影院) Board of Directors approved outsourcing Sacramento State鈥檚 campus dining operations to Aramark, subject to completion of contract negotiations. Aramark is a global foodservice provider serving hundreds of colleges and universities throughout North America.
In April, 四虎影院 released a request for proposals to several large food service operators. Three proposals were received and a fifteen-member evaluation committee with representatives from across the campus reviewed proposals, conducted interviews, and scored each of the proposers. Aramark received the highest score from the committee and their recommendation was approved by 四虎影院鈥檚 Board of Directors.
四虎影院 currently self-operates the residential dining program, most retail dining, catering and athletic concessions for Sacramento State. 四虎影院 will continue to manage dining operations through the spring semester and Aramark will assume operational responsibility in July 2021. Aramark will extend employment offers to 四虎影院 foodservice employees and employ students at levels equivalent to 四虎影院. Aramark will also bring new brands to campus that scored high in student surveys, including Habit Burger and Pieology.
